October 2006: Elsam Kraft A/S changes name to DONG Energy Generation A/S

1 July 2006: DONG Energy was founded in 2006 as the result of a merger involving six Danish energy companies – DONG, Elsam, Energi E2 , Nesa, Copenhagen Energy’s power activities and Frederiksberg Forsyning

21 December 2004: Deloitte appointed trustee of Elsam's sale of virtual capacity

6 December 2004: Deadline for submitting offers for the task as trustee
